Additess LTD and the European University of Cyprus / Centre for Risk and Safety in the Environment (CERISE) signed a memorandum of cooperation on the 4th of July 2013 in order to promote cooperation between the two Parties within the framework of joint actions, to promote the safety and protection of citizens at all levels. The intention of the two parties is to institute all necessary procedures and structures that will enable the sharing of expertise, experience transfer and organize joint actions and programs on issues of mutual interest.
The scope of cooperation between the two parties includes the promotion and support activities related to the safety and security of citizens in Cyprus and other countries. More specifically, the parties intend to provide training, support and consulting services in the exchange of expertise and experience for the:
-Protection of critical infrastructure and particularly those under the European Directive (NB 114/2008).
-Risk assessment facilities and physical security systems o Protection against natural disasters.
-Security management for major events o Crisis management using advanced technologies and systems
-Implementation of European or national research programs.
