Additess is participated in a conference with topic “Risks from CBRN Hazards” that took place in Nicosia, Cyprus on May 11, 2016. The event is co-organized by the Centre of Excellence in Risk and Decision Sciences (CERIDES) of European University Cyprus and the Cyprus Association for Safety and Health (CySHA). The event was under the auspices of HE the Ambassador of Finland in the Republic of Cyprus.
During the event, Additess presents R&D activity related with emergency response, major crises and surveillance. The presentation with title “Advanced Technologies for CI Protection from CBRN Hazards” given by Mr. Nikolao Koutra focuses on the deployment of CBRN sensors (provided by Environics) to UAV systems and how they can be used to monitor and protect critical infrastructures.Furthermore, during the event presentation for two European funded research projects, IMPRESS and ZONeSEC, and how their outcomes can be used used CBRN hazards is given.
