Joint Workshop of IMPRESS and COncORDE projects on 22nd November, 2016 in Athens, Greece

The IMPRESS (http://fp7-impress.eu) and CONCORDE (http://www.concorde-project.eu/) projects are two related FP7 Security R&D projects dealing with the development of decision support tools for improving preparedness and response of Health Services involved in emergency situations.

The two projects will organize a joint workshop titled “Decision Support Tools for Effective Health Emergency Management” with the aim to present their complementary findings and gather feedback from public health services stakeholders. The workshop will take place in Athens (Radisson Blu Park Hotel), Greece the 22nd of November 2016 between 12.00’ and 17.00’ and will be collocated with the Annual PSC Europe Forum Conference 2016. The main objective of the event is to jointly disseminate and to lively demonstrate complementary technological solutions and innovative approaches which can improve the preparedness and coordination of response activity in case of large health crises and mass casualties.

The joint IMPRESS-COncORDE workshop includes the following sessions:

  • EU and US aspects of health and MCI management

  • Presentation of IMPRESS and CONCORDE project solutions

  • Live demonstration of decision support tools and technological components

  • Gathering feedback from health emergency stakeholders
